Loan & Debt Calculators

Choose a calculator for the balance you are financing or repaying. Start with the contract terms, compare both payment size and total cost, then check whether the modeled payment fits your budget. U.S. lender and servicing terms can differ from these estimates.

Understand the differences

Loan vs. APR

Loan focuses on payments and interest. APR accounts for the fees and cash-flow timing supported by its model; review official lender disclosures before choosing an offer.

Debt Payoff vs. Debt Consolidation

Debt Payoff reallocates payments among existing debts. Debt Consolidation models replacing debts with new financing, which may introduce fees or a longer term.

Monthly payment vs. total borrowing cost

A smaller payment can come from a longer repayment term. Compare fees, interest, payoff time and any collateral or guarantee obligations alongside the payment.

Common questions

Does the calculator tell me whether a lender will approve my application?

No. Approval depends on lender underwriting, credit, income, collateral and program requirements beyond the entered calculation.

Can I use the same rate for APR and interest rate?

They may differ. Interest rate determines modeled interest accrual, while disclosed APR can include certain borrowing fees. Use the input definition shown by each tool.

Which debt payoff strategy should I choose?

Compare the modeled interest and payoff dates under a payment budget you can maintain. Promotional terms, minimum-payment rules and fees may change actual results.
